DeAngelo Hall

Former No. 8 overall pick of the 2004 NFL Draft, DeAngelo Hall, has decided to retire ahead of the 2018 season after spending 14 years in the league.

“I’ve been meeting and talking with a little bit of everybody,” he said speaking with reporters, per Richmond.com. “Organizations to networks. I’m still undecided as of now. I’m not playing. That’s for damn sure. But yeah, all the other stuff is still on the table.”

Hall spent four years with the team that drafted him, the Atlanta Falcons, before being traded to the Oakland Raiders in March of 2008. He ended up being released by the Raiders that same year and signed a deal to close out the season with the Washington Redskins. Then, in 2009, Hall signed a free agent deal with Washington, finishing up his career by spending a decade with the club.

Over the course of his 14-year career, Hall racked up 43 interceptions and 10 defensive touchdowns. He made it onto three Pro Bowl teams (2005, 2006 and 2010) and tied the NFL record by recording four interceptions in one game.
