It was reported earlier in the week that the Memphis Grizzlies had offered Miami Heat assistant David Fizdale their head coaching job.
Yahoo Sports NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski is now reporting that the two sides have come to an agreement on a four-year contract.

Fizdale, 41, has served as an assistant in Miami over the past eight seasons, all under head coach Erik Spoelstra. Prior to that, he was an Atlanta Hawks assistant for five seasons and worked under Eric Musselman with the Golden State Warriors for two seasons.
The veteran assistant takes over what promises to be an interesting situation in Memphis. The Grizzlies have earned a playoff spot in each of the past six seasons, but have failed to make it to the NBA Finals during that span.
The team fired Dave Joerger, now with the Sacramento Kings, after it struggled through an injury-plagued 2015-16 season that culminated in a first-round playoff exit at the hands of the San Antonio Spurs.
