The Indianapolis Colts are going to be without their biggest off-season acquisition for some time.
Wide receiver Devin Funchess reportedly suffered a broken collarbone in Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
This is a major blow for quarterback Jacoby Brissett after he excelled in his first start since Andrew Luck’s retirement.
Funchess, 25, was brought over from the Carolina Panthers in free agency back in March. He signed a one-year, $10 million contract after recording 161 receptions for 2,233 and 21 touchdowns in four seasons with Carolina.
