The Chicago Bulls are reportedly gauging trade interest in guard Zach LaVine ahead of next week’s NBA draft, Yahoo Sports reported.
The two-time All-Star averaged 24.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 77 games (all starts) in 2022-23.
LaVine, 28, signed a five-year, $215.2 million max contract with the Bulls in July 2022 that carries salary cap hits of $40, $43, $46 and $49 million in each of the next four seasons, per Spotrac.
LaVine owns career averages of 20.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.9 assists and has made 1,235 3-point baskets in 555 games (468 starts) with the Minnesota Timberwolves (2014-17) and Bulls.
