The Toronto Blue Jays have added All-Star pitcher Hyun-jin Ryu to their roster, reportedly signing him to a four-year, $80 million deal in free agency.
Jon Heyman of MLB Network broke the news Sunday night.
This is a big move for the Blue Jays, as Ryu is a certifiable ace. Ryu is coming off a sensational 2019 season with the Los Angeles Dodgers that saw him post a 14-5 record, 1.01 WHIP and N.L.-leading 2.32 ERA.
A team full of young hitters now gets a stud in the rotation.
