The 3-on-3, half-court basketball league will feature a truly interesting cast of characters, including favorites like Allen Iverson, Jason Williams, Charles Oakley, Latrell Sprewell and Chauncey Billups. Smush Parker, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf and Ruben Patterson, who gained fame after declared himself the Kobe-Stopper, will also play.
The inaugural season starts in June and will feature an eight-week regular season with games on Saturdays. With the summer normally a relatively dead time for sports, it would be nice to see this succeed. With the talent already there and a TV deal reportedly close, that now seems like a real possibility.
