According to multiple reports, cornerback Antonio Cromartie is returning to the New York Jets on a free agent deal.

A former first-round pick of the San Diego Chargers, Cromartie is the last NFL player to record double-digit interceptions in a season, doing so during his All-Pro 2007 season with the Chargers. He spent four seasons there and four in New York with the Jets before signing a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals in 2014.
Cromartie was the most consistent cornerback for the Cardinals. And if not for one forgettable afternoon against Demaryius Thomas in Denver, would have been one of the highest-ranking corners in the NFL last year.
He’ll be 31 when the new season kicks off, but he appears to still have some football left in him. If healthy, he has the ability to be one of the better corners in the game. He proved that last season.
Cromartie rejoins former running partner Darrelle Revis to form one of the best cornerback tandems in the entire NFL.
