The Philadelphia Eagles are in desperate need for wide receiver help. That much is already known after what we saw from this unit during Carson Wentz’s rookie season last year.
The likes of Jordan Matthews and Nelson Agholor failed to take that next step. In fact, one could say the two youngsters regressed a great deal for an Eagles team that faded down the stretch.
Firmly in the market for a top-end receiver as free agency gets going, it is being reported that Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery is leaning towards signing with the Eagles.
I'm told, as of now, WR Alshon Jeffery is leaning towards choosing the #Eagles when free agency starts.

This would be a massive upgrade for Philadelphia in every sense of the term. Despite two consecutive down seasons and after coming off a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s PED policy, Jeffery is still one of the most-talented receivers in the NFL.
Over the course of the past four years, the former second-round pick has put up over 4,000 yards with 23 touchdowns. He would be a legitimate No. 1 receiving threat for Wentz.
We’ll update this story as more becomes available.
