Cincinnati Bengals receiver A.J. Green was seen walking around with a protective boot on his injured foot on Monday. He aggravated the same toe injury that kept him out of action all throughout November during Sunday’s game.
Now he’s expected to undergo season-ending surgery to repair torn ligaments in his toe, which will reportedly sideline him 3-4 months.

This was the logical next step. Surgery was on the table previously but Green wanted to see if he could heal up without going under the knife and continue playing this year. It didn’t take long on Sunday to prove he could not. Now it’s time to get the sucker healed up properly so next season can be a success.
Green exits the 2018 season having caught 46 passes for 694 yards and six touchdowns in nine games.
