After landing forward Alex Wennberg from the Seattle Kraken on Wednesday, the New York Rangers acquired forward Jack Roslovic from the Columbus Blue Jackets before Friday’s NHL trade deadline.

In exchange for Roslovic, the Rangers sent a conditional fourth-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft.

Roslovic, 27, posted 23 points (six goals, 17 assists) in 40 games for Columbus this season. A first-round pick (No. 25 overall) by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2015 draft, Roslovic has 213 points (77 goals, 136 assists) in 426 games with the Jets (2016-19) and Blue Jackets.

The Rangers also obtained depth defenseman Chad Ruhwedel from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for a 2027 fourth-round pick.

Ruhwedel, 33, had four points (one goal, three assists) in 47 games this season for the Penguins. In parts of 12 seasons with the Buffalo Sabres (2012-16) and Penguins, Ruhwedel has 47 points (13 goals, 34 assists) over 326 games.
