The ankle injury Pro Bowl cornerback Aqib Talib suffered last week against the Los Angeles Chargers will cost the veteran at least two months.
The Los Angeles Rams announced on Wednesday that they have placed Talib on injured reserve. They also made it clear Talib will have to undergo ankle surgery.

This is a massive blow for an undefeated Rams team that has been steamrolling opponents through the first three weeks of the season. All said, their average margin of victory stands at 22 points.
With Talib sidelined for at least the next two months and fellow corner Marcus Peters also banged up, Los Angeles will be relying more on Sam Shields moving forward.
