Detroit Pistons forward/center Isaiah Stewart will miss the next 10-to-14 days with a sprained big toe.
He injured his right foot in a Dec. 15 game against the Philadelphia 76ers but has played three games since.
“He had been playing to pain tolerance,” the team explained in a news release on Friday.
Stewart did not play in Thursday’s overtime loss to Boston that extended Detroit’s losing streak to 28 games.
Stewart, 22, is averaging 10.4 points and 7.0 rebounds in 28 games (all starts) in his fourth season with the Pistons.
