You simply can’t keep Peyton Manning away from the football field. While the future Hall of Fame quarterback did retire this past spring, that doesn’t mean he’s going to be spending all of his time pitching Papa John’s.
Manning decided to show up, in a shirt and tie, to New Orleans Saints camp in West Virginia on Sunday.

There’s definitely a connection here. Manning is a New Orleans native. His father, Archie, also played 12 seasons with the Saints.
Despite his presence in camp, we’re pretty sure Manning isn’t looking to steal the Saints quarterback job from long-time counterpart Drew Brees.
In fact, the retired signal caller looked more like an NFL executive than anything else while observing camp itself.

Manning retired this past spring after leading the Denver Broncos to the Super Bowl title. He finished his career first in NFL history in passing yards and touchdown passes — numbers that Brees himself will look to best before he ultimately calls it quits.
