Did Pete Rose endorse Donald Trump as the future President of the United States of America?
Trump tweeted out a picture of a Rose-signed baseball recently:

The message from Rose to Trump reads: “Mr. Trump please make American great again.”
Rose’s camp says this is not an endorsement, however:
“Pete has made a point not to ‘endorse’ any particular presidential candidate,” lawyer Ray Genco said in a statement to NBC News. “Though he respects everyone who works hard for our country — any outlet that misinterpreted a signed baseball for an endorsement was wrong. Pete did not send any candidate a baseball or a note of endorsement.”
Regardless of what Rose and his people are saying in hindsight, it’s hard to read this and not think Rose is a Trump supporter.
