The contract of New England Patriots offensive tackle Trent Brown is set to void Monday, making the former Pro Bowl selection a free agent next month.
The Patriots will carry a $2 million dead cap hit in 2024.
Brown, 30, just completed his third season with the club, playing in just 11 games (eight starts). It was his second stint with New England after winning a Super Bowl with the Patriots in 2018.
Brown has played in 100 career games (93 starts) with the San Francisco 49ers (2015-17), Raiders (2019-20) and Patriots. He has earned more than $65 million, according to Spotrac, as a seventh-round pick of the Niners in the 2015 draft.
