Mere days after signing veteran receiver Kenny Britt, the defending champion New England Patriots are expected to have him active Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
#Patriots will get to see their new addition quickly. I’m told WR Kenny Britt, claimed this week, is part of the gameplan & should be active

This is interesting in that Britt had to learn an entirely new offense within the matter of just a few days. It’s also interesting considering Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh is a must win for New England if it wants to earn home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
If Britt and Tom Brady are not on the same page at times, it could lead to the former running a wrong route or other miscommunication, ultimately impacting the outcome of the game in the process.
On the other hand, New England didn’t sign Britt simply to watch the veteran waste away on the bench.
Despite a brief and disastrous tenure in Cleveland, the former first-round pick has more than proven himself to be a capable receiver. It was just last season that he put up over 1,000 yards for the Los Angeles Rams.
