Green Bay Packers cornerback Eric Stokes was added to the injury report and ruled out for Sunday night’s game against the host Minnesota Vikings with a hamstring injury.
In addition to Stokes, the Packers also will be without fellow cornerback Jaire Alexander due to a one-game suspension. Alexander’s ban stems from his coin-toss blunder last week that nearly cost Green Bay a possession, a move that the Packers labeled as “conduct detrimental to the team.”
Stokes, 24, sustained a hamstring injury after recording four snaps on special teams in Green Bay’s 19-17 loss to the Denver Broncos on Oct. 22. He returned from injured reserve earlier this month and totaled six tackles in two games.
Stokes has 87 tackles and one interception in 28 career games (25 starts) since being selected by the Packers with the 29th overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft.
