Indiana Pacers guard Buddy Hield has been fined $25,000 by the NBA on Wednesday for making an obscene gesture during the team’s game against the Charlotte Hornets.
Sitting on the bench, Hield was seen using a hand gesture toward a fan during the second quarter of the Pacers’ 115-109 loss to the Hornets on Monday in Charlotte, N.C. He finished with a team high-tying 20 points in the setback.
Hield, 30, is averaging 17.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 72 games (all starts) this season.
