Pablo Sandoval won the battle against Zack Wheeler in the sixth inning Thursday as the New York Mets hosted the San Francisco Giants.
The veteran absolutely teed off on Wheeler with a no-doubt-about-it upper-deck mash.
This was Sandoval’s eighth home run of the season, and it broke a tie game to give San Francisco a 3-2 lead heading into the bottom of the sixth.
