Arron Afflalo, who has long been rumored to be on the trade block, was traded from the Orlando Magic to the Denver Nuggets on Thursday morning. Orlando received Evan Fournier and a second-round pick in the 2014 NBA draft.
Orlando has agreed to send Arron Afflalo to Denver for Evan Fournier and 56th pick in 2014 Draft, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Afflalo averaged 18.8 points per game for the Magic in a breakout 2013-2014 campaign. The shooting guard figures to start next to Ty Lawson in the Nuggets backcourt this upcoming season.
Fournier, a first-round pick of the Denver Nuggets in the 2012 NBA draft, averaged 8.4 points per game in 2013-2014.
While this deal makes absolutely no sense from a strategic standpoint for this Magic this upcoming season, they do get a tad younger and acquire a valuable pick in the draft tonight. As it relates to the Nuggets, they just got a whole lot better without giving up much of anything.
Afflalo is set to earn $7.5 million this upcoming season and has a player option for the same amount in 2015-2016.
