Orlando City SC acquired forward Martin Ojeda from Argentina’s Godoy Cruz.
The 24-year-old Argentina native joins the MLS club as a designated player. His contract runs through 2025 and includes club options for 2026 and 2027.
Ojeda wore the captain’s armband for most of the 2022 season and tallied 32 goals and 21 assists in 97 matches for Godoy Cruz from 2020-22.
“Martin is a player that we have targeted for some time and are thrilled to have him join us,” Orlando City general manager Luiz Muzzi said in a news release Saturday. “He is one of the most promising South American players, with a profile and playing style that fits our club identity.”
