Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones called a press conference on Thursday, which was covered by every major media outlet, to announce that he was…
Speculation ran wild in the hours leading up to the announcement that Jones was going to enter the 2015 NFL draft, a decision many expected considering that both Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett remain on the Ohio State football team as of right now.

However, the quarterback seems to think that he needs more seasoning before making that decision. It’s the best possible move for Jones, but it will also lead to a lot of questions regarding his role with the Buckeyes next season.
Jones put up 860 yards and seven touchdowns compared to three interceptions in three starts with Ohio State, all during the postseason, this past year. His lack of experience (90 total minutes on a college football field) likely played a role in this decision.
