Jacksonville Jaguars rookie late-round pick Gardner Minshew has been all the rage since he took over for the injured Nick Foles under center.
Playing on national television for the first time in his career, Minshew started Thursday’s game against the Tennessee Titans in fashion.
That included a touchdown strike to tight end James O’Shaughnessy early in the first quarter.
The Washington State product then followed that up with a 22-yard touchdown to D.J. Chark on the Jaguars’ very next possession.
Overall, Minshew completed 5-of-6 passes for 78 yards with two touchdowns in the first eight-plus minutes of the game.
The NFL world was impressed.
