In what is going to be an awesome new feature for football fans the world over, the National Football League and You Tube have partnered up to create an all-new official channel on the video-sharing site that will include game clips and highlights.
While You Tube already had a relationship with the other three major sports in North America, the NFL has been extremely strict in protection of its content on the video-sharing site. In fact, multiple times over the years it has taken the drastic step of claiming copyright infringement and forcing You Tube to delete NFL-related content.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it’s likely worth a ton of cash. Not only can users find the videos on You Tube when the channel is created, they will be able to find the highlights through a simple Google search.
