Impending free agent David Irving has been suspended indefinitely by the NFL for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
David Irving of the Dallas Cowboys has been suspended indefinitely for violating the Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse, per the NFL.

This comes after the 25-year-old Irving was away from his team for the vast majority of last season due to personal issues. He was initially suspended to open the season after also violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
An undrafted free agent out of Iowa State back in 2015, Irving put up seven sacks for Dallas two seasons ago.
