There’s a point that it becomes readily apparent someone or something crossed the line. It is sometimes a vague line that’s hard to acknowledge. This is not one of those times.
The Michael Jordan “crying face” meme that has acted as a generational force on the Internet has now hit the print. Yes, you read that right.
Old media is combining with new media to form a conspiracy against those of us who simply want to see this drawn-out revelation fade into oblivion.
A Malawi (small country in Africa) newspaper legitimately used the Jordan crying face as a stock image in a recent publication.

The article itself focuses on Jordan’s comments regarding the current state of affairs between American police forces and the citizenry of this nation, primarily the African-American population.
Unless you have been hiding under a rock for some time, you know by now that Jordan has received some steep criticism for donating $1 million each to the Institute for Community-Police Relations and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. Jordan’s comments can be found in full here.
One would think that the Malawi-based newspaper could find a better image. Then again, maybe some editor over there decided to use this as an opportunity to troll us all. If so, well played.
