The New England Patriots are signing free agent offensive lineman Alex Redmond, NFL Network reported Monday.

The team is also re-signing guard/center James Ferentz, ESPN reported.

Redmond, 26, played in 32 games (24 starts) for the Cincinnati Bengals over the last four seasons. He’s played in just 12 games over the past two seasons, however.

Redmond worked out for the Patriots last week. He’s expected to provide depth at guard for New England.

Ferentz, 31, is the son of Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz. The former has appeared in 24 games (four starts) with the Patriots since 2017.
