On Wednesday, the story broke of MLB agent Jason Wood reportedly getting fired from CSE for allegedly recording clients showering at his home. Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports has since received a text from Wood, refuting the allegations.

There’s certainly nothing surprising about this.

A response from Wood was inevitable and for the most part, this is the kind of response that we’d expect. This is more or less exactly what we figured Wood would say if he was actually innocent, or if he was guilty but trying to deny the claims.

It’s certainly hard to get a better gauge on what happened and who’s telling the truth. Expect much more to come from this in the coming days and weeks.
