It doesn’t happen every day that a coach is fired when he has his team near the top of the standings.
But that’s what happened when the Milwaukee Bucks made the shocking decision to fire coach Adrian Griffin midway through the season as the team had a 30-13 record and were sitting in second place in the Eastern Conference.
One thing we had to know is true is that it wasn’t a knee-jerk reaction. Immediately after Griffin’s firing, the Bucks were already considering candidates for his replacement.
