The Philadelphia Eagles won a Super Bowl thanks to dominating in the trenches on both sides of the ball. One of their most impactful contributors was defensive tackle Milton Williams.
While he didn’t start in the Super Bowl, Williams helped them finish it by recording two sacks, forcing and recovering a fumble and recording four tackles. But now he’s scheduled to be a free agent and his strong performance at the game’s highest stage has made the 25-year-old’s stock surge.

Milton Williams expected to sign contract worth over $20 million per season

Milton Williams will still be just 26 when the 2025 NFL season kicks off. While he only started seven games for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024, he generated a career-high five sacks, which could put him on track to earn a starting role next season. However, it won’t be with the Eagles, who have Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis ahead of Williams on the depth chart.
With Williams coming off a career year and showing he can perform in the clutch, now he’s looking at a significant payday in NFL free agency. But how much is Williams projected to sign for?
According to Sportskeeda’s NFL insider Tony Pauline, Williams’ contract cost is now at an estimated $20 million per season.
“Osa Odighizuwa and Milton Williams lead the class and are expected to fetch contracts near $20 million annually.”

Several teams are looking to reinforce the trenches this offseason and the fact that Williams can provide some juice as a pass-rusher makes him a premier talent. While many will pursue the Super Bowl hero, all it takes is one offer that’s too good to refuse.
