I of course am talking about Mike Moustakas, because who else would I be talking about? This spring the third baseman has been making his mark. Take a look at his numbers:
He’s accumulated a .474 batting average thus far. In 16 games (38 at-bats) he has 18 hits, four home runs, and 16 RBI’s.
I’m not the kind of girl to say Spring Training numbers mean everything, after all, I’m a lady. However, you have to admit that much of an ego boost going into the 2014 season doesn’t hurt.
Last season Moustakas finished with a .233 batting average, 12 home runs, and 110 hits according to rotoworld.com.
