Tracy McGrady dropped a bombshell on ESPN’s “The Jump” Thursday about a draft-day trade that Michael Jordan axed.
McGrady said the Chicago Bulls brought him into the city for a secret meeting with the intention of trading Scottie Pippen to the Toronto Raptors.

In hindsight, clearly MJ made the right call. He and Pippen went on to win the third straight title that year to make is six in total as a duo. Furthermore, as good as McGrady was throughout his career, he wasn’t the all-around player that Pippen was.
It’s crazy that this was never really known until now. But this far past all that drama, McGrady fears no backlash about letting the cat out of the bag.
