Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic will miss Sunday night’s game at Oklahoma City due to left ankle soreness.
It’s the second night of a back-to-back and the opening contest of a five-game road trip for the Mavericks.
Doncic delivered 34 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in Saturday’s 127-117 victory against New Orleans.
It was the ninth triple-double of the season for the 23-year-old guard, who leads the league with 34.0 points per game. Doncic is also averaging 8.8 rebounds and 8.7 assists through 37 games this season.
In addition to Doncic, forward Dorian Finney-Smith (right adductor strain), guard Josh Green (right elbow sprain) and center Maxi Kleber (right hamstring tear) are also out for the game against the Thunder.
