Matt Harvey is set to return to Citi Field for the first time as a visitor on Monday when his Cincinnati Reds take on the New York Mets. He’s already messing with his former team.
The Mets requested from the Reds that Matt Harvey hold his gathering with NY reporters tomorrow at 3:45 or 4:15 so it won't conflict with Callaway's press conference at 4. … Harvey has decided to speak at 4.

Shots fired.
It’s not surprising that Harvey isn’t in any hurry to help his former team. His departure from New York was anything but harmonious. Additionally, we’re also less than surprised to see Harvey doing something to inconvenience the New York reporters a little.
Harvey began the 2018 season with the Mets and struggled mightily. With New York, he posted a gaudy 7.00 ERA and 1.56 WHIP, eventually getting relegated to the bullpen. He’s been much better since getting traded to the Reds, putting up a 4.79 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in Cincinnati.
Harvey is not scheduled to pitch in the series.
