March Madness tickets: Prices for Sweet 16 games revealed, and they vary across every region

If you want to take in the Sweet 16 games for this year’s March Madness, the West and East regions offer up some good prices for fans looking for a deal on high and low-end tickets.

The madness is here. After conference tournaments and waiting diehard and casual college basketball fans were gifted with the start of the 2025 edition of March Madness this past week. As usual, the first and second-round matchups delivered upsets and buzzer-beater wins.

The 32 games cleared out the teams with no hope and now the best 16 in the men’s NCAA Tournament remain.

Heading into this week’s games, we have seven SEC teams — such as Alabama, Florida, and Kentucky — and several other big-name programs like Michigan, Michigan State, and Duke. That is probably why there is a wide range of average prices for Sweet 16 tickets across the four regions.

Sweet 16 tickets for West regional games have the lowest get-in price

When it comes to the lowest prices for tickets in the Sweet 16 round of March Madness, you can get the best price at the Chase Center, the home of the Golden State Warriors, and West Regionals. According to third-party app Gametime, the lowest average cost for tickets is $179, including taxes and fees.

The next lowest is the Midwest regional in Indianapolis, with the cheapest tickets being around $279. Cheap seats for the East regional in Newark are going for $376. And the lowest average ticket for games in Atlanta for the South regional is a whopping $740.

When it comes to the high-end tickets. The lowest average price is the East where the most expensive cost is $1,789. The Midwest follows at $2,701, then the West at $5,365. Unsurprisingly, the South regional also has the most expensive overall high-end tickets at $6,107.
