Detroit Pistons guard Malik Beasley has a lot going on in his love life.
Beasley filed for divorce from Montana Yao in Wayne County Circuit Court this past Wednesday, but he already seems to be moving on.
Yao, 27, filed for separation from Beasley on March 5 in Los Angeles, just a few days before their fifth wedding anniversary, and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. It’s the second time the pair have filed to dissolve their marriage.
Beasley, 28, filed in Michigan state, which is apparently the correct place and venue for the filing. He is seemingly now dating Natalia Garibotto, who appeared to reveal their relationship on social media Wednesday. She posted a photo on her Instagram story of the two holding hands while leaving the Kaseya Center in Miami after Detroit beat the Heat 116-113.
Beasley and Yao have two children together: A two-year-old son named Makai, and a daughter, Mia, who was born in November 2022.
The first time the pair filed for divorce was in December 2020, after Beasley was seen holding hands with Larsa Pippen.
The former first-round pick made a public apology to Yao in May 2021, and the pair reconciled shortly thereafter. Yao was seen at one of Beasley’s games in January 2024. It’s unclear how long he has been with Garibotto.
