Florida will be without quarterback Luke Del Rio for the remainder of the 2017 season after he suffered a shoulder injury Saturday.
Del Rio was hit hard in the first half against Vanderbilt. He landed hard on his left shoulder (watch here), which was surgically repaired last year, and ended up going into the locker room before halftime.
After the game, head coach Jim McElwain told reporters Del Rio would be out the rest of the season. He’s headed for surgery on Monday.
Mac: 'Luke will be done, he will have surgery on Monday.'

Before being injured Saturday, Del Rio had completed 16-of-25 passes for 138 yards with one touchdown and one interception on the season.
