Los Angeles Rams receiver Demarcus Robinson robbed at gunpoint

Current Los Angeles Rams receiver Demarcus Robinson was robbed at gunpoint on Friday night, according to TMZ. Cops say the former Super Bowl winner during his time with the Kansas City Chiefs reportedly had over $100,000 worth of jewelry stolen from him.

The robbery took place just outside a hotel located in Los Angeles shortly after midnight when two men allegedly approached the 6-foot-1, 203-pound receiver with guns drawn, insisting he hand over any valuables on his person.

Robinson listened to the robbers and gave them several items of jewelry, including an expensive watch. Robinson was not hurt during the incident, and now cops are searching for suspects involved in the crime.

Robinson, 29, is in his eighth season in the NFL, and his first with the Rams after spending six seasons in Kansas City, and last year in Baltimore. He is on a one-year contract, earning a salary of $1.165 million this season.

Having played in all five Rams games so far this season, Robinson has seen just 17 snaps and has yet to touch the ball. The Rams will host the Pittsburgh Steelers at SoFi Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
