As Houston Astros starting pitcher Gerrit Cole stands atop the mound in the biggest game of his professional life, the 29-year-old is receiving some adorable support from his close family.
Cole’s nieces, also the daughters of San Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford, are decked out in Cole t-shirts while watching their uncle pitch in the World Series.
Crawford’s family has had its own share of World Series experience in previous years. Now they get to support their uncle and watch the game that is a huge part of their family’s life.
