San Diego Padres starting pitcher Chris Paddock has been absolutely amazing thus far this season.
His former Miami Marlins organization is finding that out first hand Wednesday evening.
Paddock went the first seven innings without yielding a hit, at which point the two sides decided to share some hilarious barbs on social media.
This is how Twitter should be used. The two are talking about the non-existent jinx of no-hitters that we’ve apparently seen in the past.
The only baserunner Paddack allowed through those first seven innings was an error. Otherwise, he was perfect heading into the eighth.
We’re highly intrigued to see not only if Paddack can finish the no-no out, but how this conversation evolves.
