LOOK: Mavericks officially announce DeAndre Jordan signing

Some reported deals of the past week around the NBA world became official on Friday with teams being able to announce signings and trades.

No one outdid the Dallas Mavericks, who announced their long anticipated deal with All-Star center DeAndre Jordan.

That’s some darn creative stuff right there.

Jordan pretty much announced he was signing with the Mavericks a week ago Friday, but he couldn’t make it official until July 6. At that point, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban responded.

This is a huge get for a Mavericks squad that almost signed Jordan three years ago. He’ll join Dennis Smith Jr., Harrison Barnes and rookie Luka Doncic to form one solid foursome for the up-and-coming squad this fall.

Until then, enjoy the Cowboy hats.
