The biggest power shift we’ve seen in quite some time occurred Sunday when LeBron James joined the Los Angeles Lakers.
This huge move makes the Lakers instantly better, but it leaves the Cleveland Cavaliers in a lurch.
According to SportsLine, the Cavaliers had a 99.4 percent chance of making the playoffs with James. Without him, that number dropped to — wait for it — just 1.3 percent.

On the flip side, the Lakers went from having a 0.1 percent chance of making the playoffs without James to 92 percent with him.

And there’s a good chance that number will increase even more, because another superstar is reportedly dead set on joining King James in Los Angeles.
This coming NBA season is certainly going to be entertaining. And we cannot wait to see how it all unfolds.
