Oakland Raiders rookie safety Johnathan Abram was one of the stars of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” over the summer, partly due to the way he pronounced the word “salmon.”
One of the funnier scenes from the summer series was Abram working very hard to convince his teammates that “salmon” is actually pronounced “sal-man.”
On Monday night ahead of the Raiders’ first game of the season, Abram showed up to the stadium wearing a flashy salmon-colored suit, along with what we assume will soon be a signature cowboy hat.
Yes. That absolutely is the color salmon.
