The Seattle Seahawks are under a ton of scrutiny for reportedly scheduling a workout with free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick, only to later cancel it due to his National Anthem protest.
This news story had pretty much everyone talking about the Kaepernick situation all over social media on Thursday.
Free to speak his mind as well, Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Chris Long absolutely blasted the Seahawks on Twitter.

While the responses to Long’s tweet thread varied, many people agreed with him.
The @Seahawks PR dept is completely inept. And if this was the decision of Pete and John, I'm dun with them. They do tend to bring guys in for feel good stories and not to actually hire them tho. We don't need #fakeintentions Smdh

Seriously,if not for @JOEL9ONE and a few guys retired from the St. Louis Rams I wouldn't respect anything about the NFL.

As it stands, Kaepernick has changed his stance on kneeling for the National Anthem. Last offseason he reportedly said he would stand if signed by a team. Now, he claims he will kneel.
Some feel the Seahawks are justified in their decision based on Kaepernick’s change of mind. Others obviously feel differently.
Kaepernick has not played professional football since the end of the 2016 NFL season and is currently involved in a collusion case he initiated against the NFL.
