In news that absolutely will not have any impact on Kawhi Leonard, the new member of the Los Angeles Clippers has been banned from a local coffee shop.
As noted by Eater Los Angeles, Alfred Coffee sent out a message on social media that it was issuing an “outright ban for both Kawhi and new teammate Paul George ‘from all Alfred locations,’ and promised more details to come on the matter.”
The big fuss is that Leonard spurned the Los Angeles Lakers in favor of their rival Clippers.
I’m sure Leonard and George are just devastated by the news (queue all the Kawhi laughing memes).
It’s a pretty amusing, and potentially clever ploy to lure Lakers fans to Alfred Coffee shops, if you ask me.
