Los Angeles Kings leading scorer Kevin Fiala (lower body) could return to the ice Sunday night against the visiting St. Louis Blues.
Coach Todd McLellan told reporters at the team’s morning skate that Fiala is available to play.
Fiala, 26, has missed six games since a knee-on-knee hit from Colorado Avalanche forward Andrew Cogliano on March 9.
In his first season with Los Angeles, Fiala has 68 points (22 goals, 46 assists) in 66 games. The forward signed a seven-year, $55.125 million contract June 30, the day after he was acquired from the Minnesota Wild.
In nine seasons with the Nashville Predators (2014-19), Wild (2019-22) and Kings, Fiala has 351 points (146 goals, 205 assists) in 485 games.
The Kings may also get defenseman Sean Durzi back from an upper-body injury after a seven-game absence. He has 34 points (seven goals, 27 assists) in 62 games.
