The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to a two-year contract with veteran quarterback Josh McCown according to his agent Mike McCarthy. second-year quarterback Mike Glennon a vote of confidence since taking the job earlier this year. For his part, Glennon had the best rookie season of any quarterback in 2013. He threw 16 touchdowns compared to nine interceptions for a robust (by rookie standards) 83.9 rating.
It will be interesting to see what the terms of the deal might be. This could help us figure out who has the advantage in what promises to be a fierce training camp battle.
