John Gibson made a season-high 44 saves for the visiting Anaheim Ducks in a 2-1 win against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday afternoon.

Rickard Rakell and Troy Terry scored for the Ducks, who are 4-0-1 in their past five games.

Tyler Ennis scored, and Anton Forsberg made 18 saves for the Senators, who came in on a four-game point streak (2-0-2) for the first time this season

Terry scored his 25th goal of the season to give the Ducks a 2-1 lead at 3:42 of the third period.

Ryan Getzlaf stole the puck in the neutral zone and passed to Terry coming across the Ottawa blue line and he scored on a wrist shot from the inside edge of the left circle.

Playing the fourth game of a five-game road trip, the Ducks scored first for the fifth straight game.

Rakell took the puck behind the Ottawa net and came out the other side. He quickly turned and shot from just above the goal line and the puck slipped through the pads of Forsberg for a 1-0 lead at 6:19 of the first period.

Rakell, a two-time 30-goal scorer for the Ducks, ended a 21-game goal-less streak with his ninth goal of the season.

Ennis tied it 1-1 at 7:56 of the first.

Lassi Thomson made a stretch pass to Ennis coming across the Anaheim blue line. He made a spin move when he got to the top of the right circle to create space and shot the puck past Gibson from the slot for his fifth goal of the season.

Ducks defenseman Josh Manson left the game with an upper-body injury after taking a hit from Brady Tkachuk late in the first period. Manson was in his second game back after missing four while in COVID-19 protocol.

Ottawa played without injured forwards Josh Norris (upper body), Colin White (shoulder), Shane Pinto (upper body), Connor Brown (broken jaw), Drake Batherson (ankle) and Dylan Gambrell (upper body).
