Jay Glazer reported last night that the Denver Broncos gave John Fox a new three-year deal. It pays to have Peyton Manning as your quarterback. Literally. All joking aside, this was a no-brainer for Broncos. Fox has done a great job since arriving in Denver.
Some of the credit goes to Manning. But some also goes to executive vice president of football operations John Elway, who got Fox on board with the high-risk/high-reward decision to bring Manning to Denver.
The ultimate goal of a Super Bowl championship has yet to be accomplished, but there’s no question they’ll have a couple more years to get there. Elway, Fox, Manning and the Broncos have pushed their chips to the middle of the table. They’re all in for the next couple years.
Broncos HC John Fox has agreed to new three-yr extension. Both Super Bowl head coaches have now agreed to new deals in 24hr span.
