After Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck made major headlines by throwing a football during practice Tuesday, owner Jim Irsay has provided an encouraging update.
Colts owner Jim Irsay told reporters that QB Andrew Luck, who threw a high-school football today at practice, will not have any limitations when training camp opens.

Luck himself also provided a very encouraging statement.
Luck on if he’ll be ready for Week 1: “Absolutely. No knock on wood. I believe it in my bones.”

This is indeed good news. It’s also the most solid statement the team has provided to the public thus far during Luck’s recovery process. If Irsay is correct, Luck should be practicing with an official-sized pigskin during training camp next month.
It has been well over 500 days since Luck last threw a pass during an NFL game. News of his healthy return to action is music to the ears of all Colts fans. For now, let’s just hope this prognosis sticks.
